Protection zone Bärenkopf

Description
Please respect nature and observe our code of conduct for paragliders, hang-gliders and glider pilots. Extreme caution is required in the protected areas shown on the map. What must be observed?
- Take-offs and landings are only permitted at designated take-off and landing sites (except in emergencies).
- Avoid flying in special protection zones: Protected area Bärenkopf, Protected area Rofan, Protected area Karwendel
- Do not fly over breeding sites or wildlife.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 300 metres from the ground when flying near slopes or ridges.
- Avoid suddenly appearing over ridges or terrain edges.
- Refrain from flying during the sensitive season (February to July, the breeding season for some rare bird species) and at twilight.
- Panic like flight behaviour and prolonged hiding of animals should be avoided in order to protect valuable grazing time and ensure the survival of young wild animals in particular.
Be considerate and respect the official take-off and landing sites of the flying areas.
