Karwendel cable car
The Karwendel cable car starts in Pertisau and gives access to the Zwölferkopf area (950m to 1,500m) and the eastern edge of the Nature Park Karwendel with the Bärenkopf (1,991m) and the Stanserjoch (2,102m). Mountain huts near the top station provide refreshments and Tirolean delicacies. The cable car also provides barrier-free access: From the car park, there is a ramp to the ticket window and adequate gondola door widths allow access for people whose mobility is impaired.
Rofan cable car
Welcome to the sunny side of the Rofan! From the valley station in Maurach, the barrier-free Rofan cable car takes you to lofty heights (1,840m) within just a few minutes. A variety of beautiful walking trails start right from the top. If you’re craving an adrenaline rush, strap on the harness under the wings of the AIRROFAN Skyglider, which swoops down towards the Mauritzalm at a speed of 80km/h. A must-see attraction is the Adlerhorst viewing platform (eagle’s nest) which is perched atop the Gschöllkopf and affords breathtaking views.
